East Boundary: East borders of Crook and Deschutes counties and the Eastern border of Kalamath county.
North Boundary: North borders of Lincoln, Benton, Linn, Deschutes and Crook counties
South Boundary: South borders of Crook and Deschutes counties and the Oregon/California border.
West Boundary: Pacific Ocean

75 Anniversary Photo Contest

Fall Mini Meet 2010

The Division One fall mini-meet will be hosted by the Corvallis Society of Model Engineers (CSME) on October 16, 2010. The minimeet will be held at their club house at 7155 NE Vandenburg Ave. In Adair Village, Oregon. The club house is located approximately 5 miles north of Corvallis on Highway 99 W. Doors will open at 8:00 AM and the clinics will start at 9:00 AM.

The spring mini-meet was hosted by Nick Lehrbach and Dirk Kruysman and was held on April 1, 2010 in the Roseburg County Library. There were nearly 40 model railroaders in attendance. The meet was filled with six clinics ranging from Digitrax throttle operation to layout detection and signaling. There were lots of door prizes and good participation in the favorite model contest.
Ken Olsen won the grand prize, in the Favorite Model Contest, for his diorama of the Hull-Oaks lumber loading facilities. Ken's diorama was also judged for the Prototype Model AP award.

These are some of the excellent models that were displayed for the Popular Model Contest at the spring mini-meet in Eugene OR. The Division 1 Board voted to expand the Popular Model Contest to encourage more participation. See the Division 1 Business page for more information.
